30 May 2026 | Tumaini Hospital Hall, Masii, Mwala Sub-County
The Julius Masisya Musyoki Foundation (JMMF) was officially launched in a colorful ceremony held at Tumaini Hospital Hall in Masii, bringing together community members, leaders, development partners, religious leaders, educators, and beneficiaries from across Mwala Constituency.
The launch marked more than the unveiling of a foundation—it signaled the beginning of a long-term commitment to uplifting lives, expanding opportunities, and driving sustainable community transformation under the foundation’s guiding mission: “Serving People, Restoring Hope, Transforming Mwala.”
A Vision Rooted in Service
Speaking during the launch, Founder Julius Masisya Musyoki shared the inspiration behind establishing the foundation, emphasizing that genuine leadership is measured not by titles, but by impact.
“We are not gathered here simply to launch an organisation. We are gathered here to launch a commitment—a commitment to serve humanity with honesty, compassion, dignity, and action.”
The foundation was born from years of community engagement, personal philanthropy, and a deep understanding of the challenges facing families across Mwala. It seeks to bridge gaps in education, economic empowerment, healthcare support, water access, and community development while restoring hope to those who need it most.
Supporting Education, One Child at a Time
Education remains one of the foundation’s core pillars.
For years, Julius Masisya Musyoki has personally supported students facing financial barriers to education. Through sponsorship programs and school support initiatives, more than 100 students have already benefited from educational assistance.
As part of the launch celebrations, the Foundation awarded school fees support to 100 students, each receiving KSh 5,000 to help keep their educational dreams alive.
This initiative builds upon a long-standing commitment to ensuring that no child is denied an education because of poverty.
“Beyond infrastructure, we must build people. We must invest in dreams. We must create a generation that is educated, skilled, disciplined, and empowered to lead tomorrow’s Kenya.”
Giving Back to the Community
The launch event also featured a significant community giving program aimed at supporting vulnerable groups and promoting dignity within society.
Among the key donations made during the event were:
- School fees support for 200 students
- 50 wheelchairs for persons living with disabilities
- 100 boxes of sanitary pads for girls and women in need
These contributions reflect the Foundation’s belief that development must be inclusive and responsive to the real needs of communities.
Building Stronger Communities
Over the years, Julius Masisya Musyoki has supported various community projects, including improvements to educational facilities and public institutions.
The Foundation aims to expand these efforts through partnerships with schools, churches, youth groups, community-based organizations, and development stakeholders.
Its programs will focus on:
- Education support and scholarships
- Youth empowerment and mentorship
- Women’s economic empowerment
- Water access initiatives
- Agriculture and farmer support
- Entrepreneurship development
- Talent nurturing and skills training
- Community welfare programs
By investing in people and creating opportunities, JMMF seeks to foster self-reliance, resilience, and long-term prosperity across Mwala Constituency.
Restoring Trust Through Servant Leadership
A central theme of the launch was the call for servant leadership—leadership that remains present, listens to citizens, and responds to their needs.
The Foundation believes that communities thrive when leaders work alongside the people they serve and when development reaches every village, family, and individual.
“True leadership is measured by how many lives are changed, how many children stay in school, how many families regain hope, and how many opportunities are created for ordinary citizens.”
A Shared Journey Toward Transformation
The launch concluded with a call for unity and collective action. Community members were encouraged to join the Foundation’s mission of creating lasting change through partnership, compassion, and service.
The Julius Masisya Musyoki Foundation envisions a future where every child has access to education, every young person can pursue opportunities with dignity, women are empowered, farmers thrive, and communities have access to the resources they need to prosper.
As the Foundation begins this journey, one message stood out clearly throughout the day:
This is only the beginning.
